Party Hire
Do you have a birthday, play group or other event with kids coming up? We can help take some of the stress out of the day with our party hire service.
Our party packs have been designed to turn your backyard into a play centre, with a range of items to suit different ages, abilities and interests. We have a bit of everything to keep little humans entertained for hours!
How does it work?
Simply choose a total of 5 items from the “Play” and “Equipment” catalogues:

- Child-height trestle table includes 6 stackable children’s chairs. The legs of the table fold flat.
- Our trestle tables are approximately 1220mm (L) x 610mm (W) and can adjust to several different heights.
Booking Information
- Cost is $50 per Party Park, with a $50 security deposit.
- The security deposit is refundable and is applicable to all bookings.
- Deposits are refunded within 7 days upon return of all equipment, providing that all equipment meets our Toy Care and Cleaning Guide.
Yes, Party Hire is only available to current members of the Cairns Toy Library.
- Bookings are done via our Party Hire Facebook Page or via the form on this page. Please send us a message to get started. Please note, your booking is not yet confirmed until we have checked the availability of your chosen Party Packs/s.
- If your chosen items are available, you will receive a confirmation in writing within 48 hours.
- You must then pay the specified fee in full and your booking is confirmed.
- Once your booking is confirmed, you cancel your party hire two weeks prior to collection, you will receive 50% refund. After that period, no refunds are available.

- Pick up: Friday between 9:00am and 11:00am at the Toy Library
- Drop off: Friday 9:00am and 11:00am at the Toy Library (7 days after collection)

Everything must be returned thoroughly clean and dry. Otherwise, the library reserves the right to retain the bond. To learn about how to clean the items, visit the Cleaning Guidelines.
- Party hire is strictly for domestic use only.
- Please note that these larger toys take up a lot of boot space and multiple trips might be required depending on the size of your car.
